How OLGB Works
At the end of a class action lawsuit, it is often difficult to find all the class members to receive their money.
Instead of returning that money to the Defendant, the remaining funds can go to charitable organizations through a process called Cy Pres.
Ohio Lawyers Give Back was created by a partner at Dworken & Bernstein L.P.A. to direct and distribute left-over funds from the firm’s class actions, and to promote this approach by other firms and the courts.
