Lorain County Alcohol & Drug Abuse ServicesAs a non-profit organization, LCADA's mission is to reduce the pervasive and adverse impact of alcoholism and drug abuse through treatment, education and prevention services. LCADA develops, provides and promotes these services regardless of the ability to pay.Founded in 1981, LCADA has served over 50,000 clients since inception and provides 67% of all drug and alcohol treatment services in Lorain County with just 48% of the funding. We receive referrals from over 150 organizations throughout Lorain County With a broad base of series and funded by many community partners, LCADA serves Lorain County's indigent population; 90% of clients qualify for assistance because they are below the poverty level. Without LCADA, many would have nowhere to turn to face their addictions. Since LCADA provides treatment options regardless of income level, those in need are given the opportunity to receive help and to once again become a contributing member of our community.
