Our Tradeswomen TOOLS (Training, Outreach, Opportunity, Leadership and Support) program combines professional educational and social services with volunteers already working in high wage, high skilled jobs. Our goal is to help women and girls overcome common barriers to success. These barriers include limited knowledge of career pathways and requirements; family care responsibilities; math readiness and other preparation to pass exams and interviews; cultural stereotypes and sexual harassment; and a lack of female role models and mentors. At its home office in Cleveland, HHW serves over 500 women annually with information, supportive services and career development.
