 $450,368.09 Cy Pres Directed By Dworken & Bernstein Co., L.P.A. The Childhood League CenterThe Childhood League Center is a preschool and early intervention center for central Ohio children with special needs ages birth to six. Challenges faced by the Center's children and their families include autism, cerebral palsy, Down syndrome and conditions related to premature births, multiple births, and alcohol and drug exposure. Comprehensive services are integrated in the classroom and provided at no cost to families.They include: Family education and parent support; speech and language therapy; physical and occupational therapies; nursing and mental health services; transportation to and from the Center and field trips within the community such as therapeutic horseback riding and swimming; 3:1 student/adult ratio provided by licensed teachers, assistant teachers, league and community volunteers; full and half day classes; peer relationships with typically developing children ages 3-6; and home-based parent education and support for pregnant mothers and children and children ages birth to 3 at risk of developmental delays, many living in poverty, through the Help Me Grow program.
