Camp Sue OsbornCamp Sue Osborn is a fresh air camp serving children with disabilities in Lake and Geauga Counties, started in 1975 by a mother who wanted her daughter to have the same summer experiences as other children. Campers have the option of attending a two week day camp at the Perry YMCA outdoor family center, a one week residence camp at Camp Burton, or both. Activities include swimming, nature walks, arts & crafts, fishing, drama skits, music, dancing, campfires and more.
The success of the camp depends greatly on the dedicated support of the community and the unwavering helping hands of the staff.
Cy Pres Award DonationThis generous donation will make a world of difference for Camp Sue Osborn. First we will be able to guarantee our camper ship budget to ensure that no child is ever unable to attend due to financial restraints. In addition, we will now be able to undertake some of the many projects and activities that we have dreamt of, such as improved and expanded programming to better meet the needs of all the campers as well as improvements and renovations of our camp facilities.
